TV Research

GfK's Television Research unit is contracted by the AGTT (www.agtt.at) to be responsible for the carrying out of the electronic monitoring for television viewing research in Austria.

The TELETEST Panel comprises 1560 private households with televisions across the whole of Austria and is representative of the Austrian population over the age of 3 years.

Since 1.1.1997, the AGTT and their licensees have been provided with information on a daily basis about the television consumption of the Austrian population for the previous day based on the TELETEST.

A wide range of data about television usage is available to us for our analyses including daily, weekly, monthly, annual, timed, advertising block coverage and share of audience during the peak viewing hours.

Purchase of Data 

Parties who are interested in TELETEST-Data but are not members of the AGTT or their licensees are able, by arrangement with the AGTT, to purchase data directly from GfK Television Research. If you are interested, please contact our Team directly or e-mail your enquiry to:
