GfK achieved sales increase of 6.2% in 2011 based on preliminary figures
January 31, 2012 - In financial year 2011, the GfK Group achieved an increase in sales and income. Based on the preliminary figures, sales were up by 6.2% to around EUR 1,374 million in financial year 2011. Adjusted operating income rose 1.8% to approximately EUR 188 million, with a margin of 13.7%.

Mobile computer sales excel in Europe
January 25, 2012 - Development within the Mobile Computer market in 2011 (January – November) was positive in Europe. The B2B sector performed particularly well and was able to record growing sales and turnover in 2011 compared to 2010. In total, in Western Europe (WEU), Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) 12% more mobile computers were sold.

Global consumer tech device spending to surpass $1 trillion in 2012
January 10, 2012 - The latest forecast figures from GfK Digital World, produced in partnership with Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), reveal global spending on consumer technology devices will surpass $1 trillion in 2012 for the first time, increasing by 5% over 2011’s figure of $993 billion.
