GfK Road Show 2011: Blackbox of the brand

A recent emprical study showed that only 30% of brand success can be linked to short-term, rational influencing factors like advertising, promotion or price alterations. As these factors can be measured accurately, marketing primarily engages in these parameters. Only little do experts know about the longterm, primarily emotional influencing factors that determine up to 70% of the success and failure of the brand. These factors, how they are measured, and how they can be affected constructively and concretely, are presented by the GfK and Serviceplan within the scope of the Roadshow 2011.

Catman-Day Während im Rahmen von ECR das Supply Managment durch Standardisierung des Datentransfers, etc. bereits weit fortgeschritten ist, hinkt das Demand Mangement, der eigentliche Kernbereich von Category Managment, dieser Entwicklung noch immer hinterher.
